SOME TIPPED OVER STORIES

I have heard about beentippedover.com on WCIC, and I never expected it to happen to me. However, tonight was a very hectic night at the Italian restaurant that I work, and a very nice lady tipped me $25 on $81! I am very grateful to this woman as well as God for showing me little signs that He is listening.

A nice young couple came in with their beautiful baby girl who was as good as gold and was as precious as the day is long. I had one other table besides the young couple so as I went back and forth. I was making small talk with them about their baby. She shared a story with me about how fast she is growing and I told them to enjoy the time while she is little because it just doesn’t last! After getting everything packed up, the young man sat down and filled out the credit card slip then grabbed their belongings, wished me well, and were on there way. As I cleaned the table and went to put the receipt in the drawer, I glanced down and saw the amount of the tip along with “You have been tipped over!” This gesture made my day! I can’t wait to pay it forward.

A couple and their kids came in for dinner. The mother ordered pancakes for their boys. The youngest had to have whipped cream for his pancakes, so I brought out the whole bottle for them – why not?! 🙂 Sorry, mom! They were very easy going and great to talk to. When they left, I saw I had been over tipped. It made me smile and warmed my heart that they felt I deserved to be “tipped over.” I have never heard of this and definitely will be passing it forward. I hope this family has a wonderful Christmas!

The total bill coming to $38. They charged the bill and left a note which stated Merry Christmas, along with two twenty-dollar bills. It was such a nice surprise, and the fact that they were terribly nice topped it off!!!
