THANKS FOR SHARING THE LOVE!

Here are some of the stories from those who have been Tipped Over by your generosity.

SOME TIPPED OVER STORIES

Ginny

Springfield

I am a hairstylist, and we make a baseline wage where i work so tips are very much an essential part of our income. There have been many times I’ve “Been Tipped Over,” but one instance stands out to me and brought me to tears. Last Christmas, a kind man paid with a $100 bill and left saying, “Keep the change merry christmas.”

Today was my second day of training at a busy seafood restaurant in Martha’s Vineyard. It’s called The Seafood Shanty in Edgartown, and I was taking a few tables by myself already. I had a table of 4 sit down, and they were really great and we had good conversation but I wasn’t expecting what I was saw when I opened the book as they left. They tipped me over 70% and I was so overwhelmed with gratitude. I was luckily able to catch them as they were leaving and give everyone hugs, but it made me feel really great since it was only my second day training. The girl who was training me also let me keep the tip which made it that much better. Faith in humanity is restored.

Had a family come in the restuarant where I work; they remembered my service from a previous visit and requested me again. I did not remember and apologized, never to forget again. We talked about my upcoming vacation. They paid their bill with gift cards, leaving a $2.60 balance, which they used a credit card for. While leaving they wished me a great vacation. A few minutes later, I picked up the face down reciept from their table. I saw that they had left me a $100.00 dollar tip with the words ” you have been tipped over.”

I had a very nice couple come into my restaurant on March 19th. They were enjoying a complimentary dinner. They were easy going and very polite to me the entire time I served them. They gave me a very generous tip and because of them I will be able to catch up on a couple of bills . I felt that I should share this story because this type of thing doesn’t happen very often where I’m from and I really appreciate it. You guys really made my night, thank you so much!!!

I deliverd a pizza to a customer and her total was $20. She tipped me $20!

Later on that night, I was shopping and the customer ahead of me happened to be short on their payment. I was able to help pay for her stuff as well. I am thankful and appreciative!
