I have waitressed for about 6 years now, trying to put myself through nurse practitioner school. I was having a stressful week, with finals, finances, and everything in between. I love going to work because I can try to forget everything and just spend time with my quests. Today, 3 hilarious, lovely, kind ladies sat at my table. I was enjoying their company as they enjoyed my service. They brightened my week, expressing their gratitude and sharing how wonderful I was. Together, they tipped me around $50 on a bill that was around $60. I am so grateful, and feel so blessed!

I am a serve at a chain Italian restaurant. It was a slow night, and I was stressing over how I was going to pay my utility bill. I knew I needed to make at least $45 in order to do so and get food for the night. A gentleman came in and got soup (no salad) and a dessert at the end. He left me about 50%. It wasn’t much, but it was greatly appreciated! I needed it. God works in mysterious ways. Thank you to the kind man who did this! God bless!

I delivered a floral arrangement to a young lady this morning. After I handed the flowers to her, she handed me what appeared to be an unopen drinking straw. She said there was money there. When I returned to the store, I noticed a note was rubber banded around the straw. I opened the paper wrapping around the straw to see there was a tightly rolled $20 bill inside the straw. The note wrapped around the straw said, “Go to beentippedover.com.” That was an awesome tip; thank you! Since it is the season of giving, I will match the $20 tip and donate it to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Best wishes for a Happy Holiday season!
