Well it started out as just another day at work. I had finally got my first table. After they were done, I gave them their check told them that it was no rush, and to have a good night. I went back to do more work and came back to clean the table after they had left and found $30.00 on my table. I asked my boss if they had paid for their food because I didn’t want to take it in case if was for the check. She said they had paid. I was like, “Wow, that was so nice of them.” Something I definitely was not expecting at all. It really made my day!

It’s nice to see someone appreciate what servers do.I was having a bit of a rough morning just feeling not as close to God as I want to be, and I was very tired this morning. I felt like I wasn’t being attentive enough to my guests, and so it was a huge shock seeing this. I was praying all morning, trying to fill my void and to just be a greater version of myself today, but I didn’t expect it at all! I didn’t know about this site ’til they put it on the receipt. They left before I could say thank you.

I have waitressed for about 6 years now, trying to put myself through nurse practitioner school. I was having a stressful week, with finals, finances, and everything in between. I love going to work because I can try to forget everything and just spend time with my quests. Today, 3 hilarious, lovely, kind ladies sat at my table. I was enjoying their company as they enjoyed my service. They brightened my week, expressing their gratitude and sharing how wonderful I was. Together, they tipped me around $50 on a bill that was around $60. I am so grateful, and feel so blessed!
