SOME TIPPED OVER STORIES

I’m a new server at a new restaurant in town, and I was nervous that I wasn’t going to be making any money. I was completely shocked to see two tipped-overs on checks of mine. Both saying that I have a knack for serving and being more than 40% tipped over!

A very sweet, polite, well mannered, all around beautiful young lady came and sat in my section. I was day 3 on my own. I made silly and stupid mistakes. She wouldn’t hear of me being sorry for them. When she paid, she used a promotional item that benefits local schools. SO COOL!!!! I told her I thought it was a cool thing. Then the little ray of sunshine left me a generous tip with the information to share here. This is also new to me!What a beautiful young lady. Very refreshing in an egocentric society! Thank You! The world is a better place with you in it!

I’ve been struggling when it comes to faith in finances. Since the city I live in is a summer-seasonal city, the winters can be hard. So much so that I picked up two jobs. My first job that morning was a 7 hour shift making only $3 and my second job was also 7 hours that day, but I was learning to have faith. In the midst of putting into practice what it means to have faith that God will provide, God not only sent one table that night that over tipped me, but several. Some I even got to pray with, which to me is hitting the jackpot. Thank you to all those that helped encourage my faith in God by listening to the Spirit and being an example of Christ. And Thank You God!
